Have you heard of Chanca Piedra? This amazing herb, often called the “stone breaker,” has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, especially in South America.
Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus niruri) is a small, herbaceous plant that grows in tropical regions. Its name, which means “stone breaker” in Spanish, hints at its most famous use: helping to break down and potentially prevent kidney stones.
- Kidney Health
- Stone Prevention: Chanca Piedra is believed to have the ability to break down kidney stones and prevent their formation. The herb’s compounds could help dissolve the minerals that form stones, making them easier to pass.
- Detoxification: It supports the kidneys in flushing out toxins, promoting overall urinary tract health.
- Liver Support
- Detoxification: Chanca Piedra can aid the liver in detoxifying the body. It may help reduce liver enzyme levels and protect against liver damage, making it a great companion for liver health.
- Digestive Aid
- Anti-inflammatory: The herb’s anti-inflammatory properties can soothe the digestive system, reduce discomfort and promote healthy digestion.
- Antimicrobial: Chanca Piedra may help fight off harmful bacteria and parasites in the digestive tract, supporting a balanced gut flora.
- Antioxidant Properties
- Cell Protection: Rich in antioxidants, Chanca Piedra can protect cells from oxidative stress and damage.
- Blood Sugar Regulation
- Blood Sugar Control: Some studies suggest that Chanca Piedra may help regulate blood sugar levels, making it beneficial for those with or at risk of diabetes.
How I Personally Use Chanca Piedra
I usually go through a bottle of Chanca Piedra once per year.
For those prone to kidney stones, we suggest going through a bottle once per quarter.
If you are working on an active issue, here is the suggested dose:
30 drops 3x daily. Increase to 5x daily if needed
If you are looking to prevent an issue from forming:
30 drops 1x daily until bottle is gone.
You can order a bottle of our Chanca Piedra tincture here.
Our LiverLove formula also contains Chanca Piedra and is a good option if you prefer capsules.
